Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Rosé AOC

An exemplary, traditional Provencal rosé, Château Beaulieu Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence is bright and fruit-forward with exotic fruit that reminds of guava and papaya and white floral aromas on the nose. It has body and structure, yet is fresh on the palate and beautiful minerality. Each varietal is vinified separately in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to preserve its natural characteristics. A versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a wide variety of seafood. Serve chilled, when young.

Holding 442 acres-one of the largest vineyards in Coteaux d’Aix-en Provence-this property produces a simple, refreshing wine. It brings forward red fruits that are cut with acidity. Light and buoyant, it is a fine aperitif style.

Musky red berry skin, rhubarb and pungent flowers on the fragrant nose… concentrated, showing good focus to its bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors. A hint of blood orange adds a refreshingly bitter jolt to the finish, which hangs on with good mineral-driven tenacity.

This is a deliciously refreshing wine. It’s acidity and red-currant fruits are bright, crisp and right up front. The rounder, caramel and spice backdrop to all this fruitiness makes it just right for the table.

Extra fruity, packed with strawberry and crisp red currants flavors, this is all freshness, richness and clean acidity. It has some weight but just emphasizes the fruitiness.

A full, rounded wine, very much a rose for food. It is bone dry in character, although the berry fruitiness gives the wine an attractive open feel. With its firm texture, it could age a year.
