Old Vine Zinfandel
Zin 91 Old Vine Zinfandel is ripe, with blackberry and blueberry aromas that are balanced by oaky vanilla notes and sweet cinnamon. The supple palate showcases notes of boysenberry and clove. The finish is generous with berries and spice and the acidity is balanced by present, yet tame alcohol. Aged in new and second-use French oak barrels for 9 months and bottle for 10+ months, this is approachable now, but will drink well for several years.
