Argento

Bodega Argento is Argentina’s largest organic grower and offers a collection of awarded, naturally balanced, vibrant wines crafted from some of the finest organic vineyards in Mendoza and Uco Valley. All wines are certified sustainable, certified vegan, made with certified organic grapes, and many are certified Fair Trade.

Owned by Alejandro Bulgheroni, Bodega Argento is located in Cruz de Piedra, Maipu, Mendoza, Argento has over 1,050 vineyard acres centered around Mendoza’s prized west and east subregions as well as the higher-elevation, cool-climate Valle de Uco. Five estate vineyards: Agrelo, Altimira, Ugarteche, Pedemonte and Cruz de Piedra each lie between 2,490 and 3,500 feet above sea level. These high-altitude vineyards rest on beds of large rocks to sandy clays and silts to allow for excellent drainage with bright sunlight fueling flavor development.

Award-winning winemaker, Juan Pablo Murgia, is responsible for the portfolio of terroir-driven wines and leads Argento’s mission of agroecology (viticulture respecting the ecosystem).

The resulting wines are synonymous with tremendous value and holistic care, from vine to table. Generous aromas and vibrant flavors are hallmarks of the Estate, Reserva, and Estate Collection tiers. The Single Vineyard and Single Block take the journey to micro-terroir to a level of perfection.
