Verruzzo
Meaning “small wild boar,” Verruzzo is an ode to the local wildlife that roam the vineyards. Possesses a dense core of ripe red fruit laced with notes of mocha, smoke, tar, grilled herbs, and black fruit surrounded by a firm, tannic frame. The finish is long, with floral touches and sweet baking spices. Aged several months in French oak barrels, this young, easy-drinking blend incorporates Tuscany’s signature varietal, Sangiovese. Pairs well with rustic pasta dishes, roasted fowl, and firm Tuscan cheeses.
