Though this amber rum flavored with Brazilian coffee extract has a mild coffee aroma, it’s quite bold and syrupy on the palate. The flavor leans toward light-roasted coffee, not dark espresso, with a touch of hazelnut on the finish. The coffee flavor doesn’t linger on forever, so it’s just right to add subtle flavor to cocktails.
Better than a Latte
1 oz Meletti Coffee
.5 oz Meletti Cioccolato
1 oz rum
1 oz milk
Put all three ingredients into shaker with ice, and shake hard until frappe. Strain into chilled cocktail glass and microplane cinnamon over the top.
Coconut-Vanilla Egg Cream
2 oz Meletti Ciccolato
1 oz NY Egg Cream
Club soda
Pour first two ingredients into old-fashioned soda glass with ice, stir lightly to combine, top with club soda.
Drunk on Christmas Morning
.5 oz Meletti Coffee
1 oz Bourbon
1 oz Meletti 1870
.5 oz espresso
Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into rocks glass with one large cube. Garnish with orange twist.
Morning Coffee
1 oz Meletti Coffee
1.5 oz bourbon
4 dashes orange bitters
Club soda
Add first three ingredients into Collins glass with ice. Top with club soda, and stir gently to combine.

• .5 oz Rhum Agricole
• 2 oz Cream or whole milk
Shake ingredients together. Strain into double rocks with fresh ice. Garnish with quotes!
